Hi everyone,
I'm Paolo "MementoMoree" Basile, but already present online as Komemiute.

I have been playing videogames since the ealy 80s on my Commodore 64- and essentially never stopped.

What am I doing here? I pride myself with being an artist.
I'm the hidden, pixel-pushing, finger behind a couple of niche but well received titles on the C64, as the other half of Witchsoft.
Together with the iconic Sarah Jane Avory we had a lot of fun creating neoclassics (Briley Witch Chronicles 1 & 2) and re-visiting typical 8-bit genres (Zeta Wing 1&2, Soul Force). As a side note lately we are working on Kouyate.

But I already have my name after a larger title - SKALD : Against the black priory.
Pixel after pixel I made most of the art and set pieces of the whole first act, and some of the second.

Mostly I am known as the man behind the portraits.

Thanks to Krishty's goodwill I was able to help with the additional art in the modern re-release of F-22 ADF as the wobbly hand behind the Achievements Icons. Please be kind.

I'd also like to present a small token of my appreciation for DID products.

I forgot to add, I worked for 15 years on the official (EADS ASTA) military flight simulator of the Eurofighter for the Italian Airforce.
Then the military flight simulator of the Tornado (two variants) still for the Italian Airforce, and the MB-346.

Nowadays I work under civilian contract for the German armed forces on other types of training flight simulators, mostly rotary wing.


In my free time I am also an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for a thirdparty preparing modules for Digital Combat Simulator- doing almost exactly what I do during my IRL job.
