It was released exclusively on Zero Magazine's October 1990 Coverdisk and was meant as a promotion for the planned sequel to F-29 Retaliator, as well as for Epic; a space combat game by DID, based on the same game engine. Zero's readers needed to own the original F-29 Retaliator disks in order to play this game.
