In some EF2000 levels, tiles flicker when close to the screen edges. E,g, Wales:
At first I blamed the outdated supershapes, but then it occurred to me that this happens only in tiles that do not fully fill their space. I.e. those with partly transparent ground where you expect to see ground color instead of holes.
I guess we’re not properly setting the tile’s bounding box if its geometry doesn’t fill a whole terrain tile.
