The range of sight is too low when the game starts.
I think it is 15 tiles now (which is twice as far as TAW), but due to the curved horizon and mountains as high as 7000 meters, we get artifacts:
We should go to 25 tiles, I guess (ca. 70 km range of sight). Maximum is 49 tiles.

Drop yes … from ca. 500(?) fps down to 150(?), which is probably still good. My CPU is middle-end and my GPU low-end.

I need to add markers to the frame time graph. Basically, if the graph reaches the bottom of the screen it’s down to 30 fps. If it reaches the middle of the screen, it’s 60 fps. And so on
