Trouble help needed.

You must run tawmwnu.exe from your TAW 2.0 folder. This program will now exit.

What, if anything, can I do here? Reinstall?

After reinstall speech is not working. I remember having this problem in the past but not recall the solution of how to bring speech back. Speech works in Options Menu all fine but not in the game. SFX works OK, music I have off completely.

You’ll need the TSP TrueSpeech codec! !ADP/utilities/TrueSpeech_Codecs/tsp_codec_install.exe

The trouble with sound still persists. Had SFX no speech, now both are out.

Once TAW has started up and if there are no sound effects when you click the menu items, I suggest you ALT-TAB to the desktop and see whether Windows has muted TAW in the 'Volume Mixer'.
I think this has been the most common cause of intermittent 'no sound' issues over the last couple of years. Why it happens, I have no idea.

At least Windows seems to be able to ALT-TAB from and to full screen programs without issue these days.

Thank you mikew for advice, but all really behaves very strange. I keep installing and reinstalling with different things all the time preventing reinstallation. And it was working so well before until that speech problem. I guess I need some time to figure out what is wrong.

A cure (!) for my problems was to heed the advice of RapierCz and reinstall everything from scratch into a totally "new_never_used_before_name" TAW directory.
