How many EF2000 'known' files do you have now?
I need to get back into this, but I haven't looked for new EF2000 filenames since about 2012.

No idea; I don’t count and I don’t maintain a comprehensive list! But aside from the palette names above, I would strongly suggest trying out all known TFX filenames …

Seems like a lot to discover!

Maybe I’ll create a log of file accesses from TFXplorer during the loading of the hidden levels. I doubt that it helps a lot, as I mostly rely on files that you had already discovered. But who knows …

Did you unpack anything from Inferno? The very fact that it still lives on in the LEV file format makes me think some of its files may be in there as well.

Oh and we should try the additional ADF files that we discovered last year, too.

Yes, I've unpacked Inferno, although I don't have many names apart from the .3 and .ssd files.

Just consolidating my tools today as I had some error in the pre-EF2000 V2 hash generator which I needed to sort out. That was annoying me for years, but fixed now.
The European SEF did.dat has a few hundred more files than the one from V2.0, which is mainly explained by the extra French and German language stuff. There are some oddities like the unknown file with hash 0x7dc8572a which seems to be a TFX exe, but has the string 'Trondheim' in it.

Code has landed. The existing moving maps are sufficient; if we find the missing maps, they can be added with literally one line of code!

This alone would be worth spending a weekend on … early beta version of EF2000 …

Hmmn, and 0x7f14b536 is a standalone exe to depack RA and JR files. I should have looked at this earlier...

😲

At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if you also found the legendary VIEW3D.EXE!
