A list of CSim threads I must save before CSim vanishes entirely:
Did you do anything about that? If not, I might try and see if I can make some custom scraper.

I contacted the Archive Team and eventually got this last week:
These forums are now running through ArchiveBot. This should capture all publicly accessible threads, and they will eventually end up in the Wayback Machine.
My hopes are pretty high.

BTW, if you want to help them (not with this specific project, but generally), you can download ArchiveTeam Warrior. It’s virtual machine that you can load into VMWare/whatever and just run in the background. It will grab jobs from the archive team and use your internet connection to do the backups of failing sites, pack them up, and send them to the Internet Archive.

Cool! There's a lot of stuff on there already, and I guess it will only get better.
A lot of your early imageshack links are dead now, but some seem to have been repurposed like the first picture in this link:

LOL

Small correction: ImageShack deleted the images long ago, and this banner as default placeholder for deleted images is just their way of expressing solidarity with Ukraine. Luckily, I backed up most of this years ago.

BTW, any images you upload here (not just link) are part of my normal backup schedule and will hopefully be kept forever.

I’m having problems viewing that site, but I’ll trust Google that Archive Team has already started saving Combatsim:
