Border Oil Tension   level 2

"An old border dispute over territory deteriorates when new  oil is found by
Yemen.
The Saudis make a claim on the oil which is disputed by Yemen which responds
by moving in forces to protect the oil fields in the disputed border zone.
Saudi Arabia claims it has been invaded and border skirmishes break out.
The US/NATO  are called in to mediate but tensions mount, leading to a
Saudi / Yemeni fighter duel.
The Saudi base at Ash Sharawah is bombed so Saudi retaliates, resulting in a
short 6 day war.
Saudi Arabia invades the border zone and NATO is caught up in the  fighting.
Russia backs Yemen and NATO pulls out all front line aircraft but maintains
AWACS control of Saudi fighters.
Yemen counter attacks by setting fire to the oil fields.
The war ends in stalemate for Saudi/Yemen but NATO maintains its creditability."
