In order to counter the further delivery of weapons and munitions to Yemen from China via Iran, US forces, at the request of the Saudi government, have placed a 'Sea Control Area' in the Gulf of Aden. As the US forces have no bases except in Saudi, which would mean risky flight over Yemen in support of this blockade, France has granted US F-22s and other air and naval units full use of bases in Djibouti. The blockade is coming under attack from the Yemeni air and naval services.

You are to fly a combined US CAP and sea control mission over the Gulf of Aden. Take off will be at 14:01 hours from Djibouti with your three wingmen. Rockets, Harpoons and air to air weapons are to carried.

The Rules of Engagement in force currently are as follows:

<c=g>1) All air and sea contacts must be identified as Yemeni by sensor and or Televisual systems and can be engaged if the contact, once identified, acts in any way aggressively towards the UN forces patrolling the 'Sea Control Area'</c>

<c=g>2) Positively no land targets are to be approached or attacked, even if you are fired upon by them</c>
