You will find your aircraft parked at the start of the mission. Take off from <u>At Taif Main Airfield</u> in Saudi Arabia, near the Holy city of Mecca. Make a controlled circuit of the airfield and be very aware that other aircraft will be landing and taking off. The autopilot systems can handle take off for you if you wish.

Start your engines by pressing the [ and ] keys. Use SHIFT S on the keyboard to <u>time skip</u> to the end of the runway. Spool your engines up to <u>full military power</u> (100%) by pressing the + key on the extended keyboard and when the aircraft reaches 180 knots, pull the nose up by repeated depressions of the DOWN CURSOR key or else by gently pulling back on your joystick.

Retract the landing gear by pressing G on the keyboard and, while keeping your wings level, maintain a <u>15 degree climb</u> to the altitude indicated by the tower before turning onto your route.

<c=r>During take off there is a random chance of single or twin engine failure. You will have to deal with the situation and get the aircraft safely down. To do this request a straight in approach and then try to complete a circuit of the airfield and land on the indicated runway.</c>
